What is Juvederm?
Juvederm is a colorless, cosmetic filler comprised of hyaluronic acid gel that adds volume to facial tissue, softening wrinkles and folds as well as enhancing the fullness of lips. Juvederm has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid and is produced with a special formulation process that makes it smoother, resulting in a more natural, youthful appearance.

How does Juvederm work?
Juvederm is a non-surgical, physician-administered treatment, which is eased under the skin using a fine needle to augment or fill the soft tissue of the dermis, the dense inner layer of the skin beneath the epidermis. Juvederm adds volume and diminishes wrinkles and folds in the “laugh lines,” “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds) and “marionette lines” (oral commissures).
 
How long does Juvederm last?
Juvederm is produced through HYLACROSS™ technology creating a high degree of cross-linking and promoting duration for up to 1 year.

Is there any downtime?
As with any injection, minor swelling and bruising may appear after the treatment with a short lasting duration (7 days or less). Normal activities may be resumed immediately after the treatment.
